Major introduction
The 5-year Architecture major program complies with the accreditation standards and procedures presented by the Korea Architectural Accrediting Board (KAAB)—the basis for accreditation of international architect history—and enables students to acquire a professional degree certification in architecture education. It is a professional degree program recognized simultaneously by the Canberra Accord accreditation bodies and the UNESCO-UIA Validation Council for Architectural Education (UVCAE).
Emphasis is placed on design and design education that cultivate creative modeling and space-making skills based on humanities, sociology, and cultural understanding of Western, Eastern, and Korean architectural history. In addition, the major program enables students to understand important knowledge of engineering and master necessary skills such creative and artistic modeling can be realized. It considers the psychological aspect of human beings and value the eco-friendly design ability to save energy.
