Foster international experts by enabling them to be equipped with English proficiency required by the internationalization and information age through academic exploration of English, English education, English literature, and English culture

Develop and provide the curriculum that advances the times to foster creative adaptability to the future society

Major introduction

It cultivates professionals equipped with English proficiency to enter the international information age, and knowledge of majors in English language, English education, English literature, and culture. Students can cultivate balanced thinking skills and the qualities of practical intellectuals who serve through accurate awareness and understanding of the international community. Further, it is equipped with an optimal educational environment such as a state-of-the-art multimedia language lab and department library. To improve practical English and major English, the curriculum is continuously researched and developed to improve its adaptability to future society.

Career paths after graduation

Students can advance a wide range of fields related to the English language, English education, English literature/culture, and international exchange. They can join a graduate school to either continue academic research or work in the fields of education, public sector for foreigners, trade and management, media / culture / publishing as interpreters / translators, finance, and tourism.
